Our hotel is less than a mile from Starr Pass Golf Club, a 27-hole Arnold Palmer Signature Golf facility with a double-loaded driving range, rejuvenating 20,000-square-foot clubhouse and top-quality golf shop. Perfect your game while admiring the backdrop of natural mountain ranges.
You can register for the golf event on the meeting registration form. The cost is $100 and payment must be received to reserve a slot. Refunds for golf registrations will be granted if written notice is received by Monday, September 26, 2016.

The JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa rests within the breathtaking Tucson Mountain Park - established on April 11, 1928 and containing approximately 20,000 acres and 62 miles of non-motorized trails. The Tucson Mountains are full of towering saguaro, with can live 200 years, grow to fifty feet tall and weigh more than ten tons. Inside the part, guests may see a variety of wildlife including quail, roadrunners, woodpeckers, flickers, wrens, owls, hawks, desert tortoise, gila monsters, javelinas (wild pigs), kangaroo rats, coyotes and jackrabbits. Morning Hike - 6 a.m. every morning
From the main resort lobby, facing west into the mountains, Tucson Mountain Park awaits you. Take a right onto the sidewalk and you see the Lorraine Lee Trailhead across the road. The placards are there to give you a hint of the history, the importance and beauty of the trail system you are about to enter. Onward and upward you step over rocks millions of years old, and the serenity encompasses you. You traverse a mountainside filled with Saguaros, Cholla, Prickly Pear cactus, Mesquite, Palo Verde and Acacia: the foods and medicines of individual long ago. You savor each step, each breath, each vision. Each morning a complimentary guide is here to help you experience this journey. You can also partner with your own professional guide to facilitate a custom outing (fees apply). Please check with the concierge for times and availability.
Morning Ritual - 7 a.m. every morning
Mitakuye Oyasin (All My Relations) - Join us each morning on the Salud Terrace to participate in a traditional Native American ceremony and unique Sonoran Desert experience. During our morning ritual, the warming sunrise, the Native American Flute, burning your own sage prayer tie, and an eagle feather blessing will inspire you to see life from a different perspective. Begin each day by reflecting on the connection we all have with nature and each other, finding focus and creating lasting memories. In a ritual that is centuries old, you will have the opportunity to make your intentions known to the universe through the traditional burning of sage.
Happy Hour at Catalina - 4 - 6 p.m. everyday
Catalina Barbeque Co. & Sports Bar serves a dynamic combination of award-winning competition-style barbeque in a casual, upbeat environment with a modern sports bar feel. Enjoy a free shuttle to Catalina from the hotel lobby.
Evening Ritual - 5:30 p.m. everyday
(The Legend of Arriba Abajo
) Every culture and region has rich stories of love, courage and tradition, and the Sonoran Desert is no exception. Every evening at 5:30 we welcome you to gather on the Salud Terrace to watch the sunset and experience our nightly tradition - the Tequila toast. The legend of Arriba, Abajo begins with the tradition of a man asking his beloved's father for her hand in marriage. To hear the rest of the legend, join us for this unique experience where we feature one of our more that 150 artisan tequilas and a complimentary toast: "Arriba, Abajo, al Centro, al Dentro, Salud!" (Up, down, out and in). The perfect way to celebrate with old friends and create new ones - "we are all related".
Evening Entertainment - 6 - 9 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Salud Lobby Lounge invites you to relax and unwind on the Salud Terrace while listening to the sounds of Bossa Nova Jazz, a lyrical fusion of samba and jazz; classic R & B sounds; and classical Spanish guitar and singing from local Tucson musicians. Evening entertainment varies nightly, but you can enjoy live entertainment possibly including Gabriel Francisco, Zona Libre, Carlitos & Company, Belinda Esquer, and/or Tesoro.
