This webinar presentation will provide an overview of the essential elements to be included in an objective non-proprietary specification for synthetic turf systems. Learning objectives for this webinar include:

  • Definition and goals of a synthetic turf system and how the various components relate to each part of the system;
  • Primary objectives for synthetic turf base systems as it relates to stability and drainage, and understanding the basis for the upcoming 2016 STC Guidelines for Field Base Design;
  • Review of the performance, safety, durability, and other special requirements of synthetic turf surfacing and infill systems
