The STC's Whistle-stop Seminar features expert presentations and Q&A on current industry-related issues. Invitees for this educational seminar include decision-makers and key officials from landscape architectural firms, parks and recreation organizations, municipalities, homeowner associations, hotels, and theme parks.
Registration for this seminar is $35 for non-members and guests and includes access to the STC Exhibitor Showcase on Monday, March 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This seminar is open to all Full registrants of the STC Spring Membership Meeting.

The purpose of the STC’s Exhibitor Showcase event is to provide an opportunity for members to showcase for the STC membership a product, service, or advancement through the distribution of marketing brochures and face-to-face communication in a business setting.
Exhibitor Guidelines and Shipping Information
Exhibitor tables will be positioned around the perimeter of the luncheon ballroom. Payment must be received to reserve a table. Checks should be made payable to STC. In the event that all tables are reserved, you will be notified and placed on a waiting list. ONE table may be purchased per Member Company. The Exhibitor fee includes a 6’ skirted table, 2 chairs, and a wastebasket. The exhibitor guidelines are as follows:
- There is no pipe and drape to hang signage or banners, except from the table itself.
- Whatever fits on the table is permitted. Pop-up displays on tables are acceptable. Floor models are NOT acceptable.
- There will be no live demonstrations of products or working models, unless they fit on the table.
- Laptop computers and tablets that operate on battery power are allowed.
- Give-away items are permitted by exhibitors only.
- Standard 120V electrical outlets are available in the ballroom. If you require use of an outlet, please bring an extension cord and power strip.
The person and/or company shipping the items should be clearly identified. Ship all packages to arrive no earlier than Saturday, March 15. On Sunday, March 16, enjoy 18 holes of spectacular Las Vegas golf at Stallion Mountain Golf Club – shotgun start is at 1:00 p.m. Transportation will be provided for all golfers to and from the Tropicana Las Vegas and golf course. Buses will depart from the hotel at 12:00 p.m.
The 7,351-yard layout that was designed by PGA Tour legend Jim Colbert and golf course architect Jeff Brauer. The club has a decorated history in the Las Vegas golf scape as a host venue for the PGA Tour Las Vegas Invitational, Golf Channel’s Big Break II, and the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic. Stallion Mountain Golf Club is located within just seven miles of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip.
Price to play is $130 per player, which includes box lunches, green fee, cart fee, range balls, bag gratuity, tournament setup and scoring. Club rentals are available for $55 plus sales tax (payable at the pro shop). Dress code includes a shirt with a collar, pants, slacks or bermuda-length shorts, soft spikes or tennis shoes. Tank tops, denim, tee shirts, cut-off shorts and metal spikes are strictly prohibited.

The special STC room rate of $90 at the Tropicana Las Vegas is available for rooms booked from March 16-18. You should book your room early, but no later than Thursday, February 27. After this date, rooms are on a ‘space available’ basis at the STC rate. The hotel requires a list of attendees and exhibitors on this date.

The Tropicana Las Vegas is located approximately 10 minutes from the McCarran International Airport (LAS). A variety of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarran International Airport, and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7-13. Please note, there are both group shuttle and "for-hire" stretch limousine services. Shuttles are $6-7 per person. Cab fare is $20-25 (flat rate) and Town Cars cost up to $75 per hour.
