To ensure a fair and secure examination process, please follow these instructions carefully:
Preparation:
- Reserve up to two (2) hours of uninterrupted time for the exam. Make sure you won't be disturbed during this period.
- Ensure you have a stable internet connection and a compatible device (laptop, desktop, or tablet) to access the online exam platform.
- Gather any materials you might need, as the exam is open book.
Exam Environment:
- You must take the exam alone. Do not interact or collaborate with any other candidates during the examination process.
- Find a quiet and well-lit area for the exam. Make sure there is no unauthorized material or assistance within reach.
Accessing the Exam:
- The CSTI exam is administered online through the Synthetic Turf Council (STC) website.
- Log in to the online exam platform provided by the STC using your credentials.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to access the exam. Read any additional guidelines or rules before starting.
Taking the Exam:
- The exam consists of 50 multiple-choice questions.
- You must complete the entire exam in one sitting. The platform does not save answers or allow you to pause and resume later.
- Once the exam begins, ensure you manage your time wisely to attempt all questions.
- Do not attempt to duplicate, reproduce, or share any part of the exam content in any way, as it is the property of the STC.
Completing the Exam:
- Carefully read each question and all the answer choices before making your selection.
- Answer to the best of your ability, utilizing any reference materials if needed.
- Save your responses regularly as you progress through the exam.
Submission:
- The exam window is open for two weeks and will close at the specified time.
- Once you have completed all 50 questions, click the "Submit" button to finalize your answers.
- After submission, you will not be able to change your responses.
Exam Results:
- STC staff will review your exam, and you will receive your results within a specified time frame.
- You will not receive results immediately after you complete the exam. You will receive the results up to 10 business days after the exam window closes.
- Once the results are available, you will be able to log into your secure STC account and you will see a section entitled “CSTI Exam Results” (not viewable by others). No additional information will be posted within your STC account.
- To protect the confidentiality of your test score, no results will be given over the telephone or via email.
Remember, the exam process is designed to evaluate your knowledge and skills in a fair and unbiased manner.
