2024 STC ANNUAL CONFERENCE OCTOBER 28 - 30, 2024 | PHOENIX, AZCALL FOR ABSTRACTS: Poster Sessions & Rapid Podium
SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS AUGUST 19, 2024 (EXTENDED)
To meet the Synthetic Turf Council’s goal to increase the percentage of member attendance in the annual conference from member companies, the STC is excited to announce two new
session formats: poster presentation and rapid podium. The STC is accepting individual abstract submissions for poster presentation and rapid podium at the
2024 STC Annual Conference to be held October
28 – 30, 2024 in Phoenix, AZ at the Sheraton Downtown Phoenix Hotel.
Presentations must be non-proprietary and educational in nature, not sales or product-specific. The presentations shall be in English; translators will not be provided.
Theme & Topics
"Trade Winds: Navigating Market Shifts"
Individual abstract submissions should highlight either a project, research or case study following the guidelines listed below. Submissions related to the following themes
are invited for submission:
- design
- planning
- government relations
- installation
- maintenance of artificial turf in specialty applications – e.g. residential, commercial, rooftops, playgrounds, putting greens
KEY DATES
- August 19, 2024 – Deadline for individual oral and poster submissions
- August 30, 2024 – Anticipation notification of acceptance/rejections
- September 2024 – Anticipated program released
- October 2024 – Select abstracts submit posters
ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
- Abstracts should be non-proprietary and not company- or brand-specific.
- No more than three entries can be submitted per individual. Each abstract will need to be submitted as a separate entry.
- Incomplete abstracts will not be considered.
- Accepted participants are required to register and pay for the STC Annual Conference.
- Accepted participants are responsible for all travel and hotel costs.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES/DIRECTIONS
Download the STC 2024 Abstract Template below, complete it, and save as a pdf. Do not adjust the margins or font on the template. All abstract submission must use the template
and stay within the one (1) page maximum. Step 1: Download Abstract Template (DOC) Step 2:
PREPARE TO ANSWER
- Title of the submission (max 255 characters)
- A short abstract summary to introduce and highlight the submission. This may be used to promote the submission in the meeting program, website or meeting app (max one page)
- Desired presentation format: Oral or Poster (If you submit a proposal for an oral and are unsuccessful, your submission will be automatically considered for a poster)
- Your name, company/institution and email address as the submitter and contact of the submission
- The names, companies/institutions and email addresses for all corresponding authors in the order they are to appear in the program
- Name of presenting author
- STC Membership
- Submission theme(s) that best matches your research (choose up to 3 at the most)

STC's Non-Commercial Policy
STC Program Committee is seeking valuable educational sessions and are always critical of presenters or sessions that are self-promotional. STC policy requires that presenters do
not use a conference session for commercial sales pitches, self-promotion or unwarranted criticism of a competitor. Presentations should only advance the educational process;
sales pitches do not and are therefore not acceptable. Speakers are not permitted to distribute company promotional literature, brochures or sales materials in any form to attendees
during their session.
