The 7,351-yard layout that was designed by PGA Tour legend Jim Colbert and golf course architect Jeff Brauer. The club has a decorated history in the Las Vegas golf scape as a host venue for the PGA Tour Las Vegas Invitational, Golf Channel’s Big Break II, and the Frank Sinatra Celebrity Classic.

Price to play is $130 per player, which includes box lunches, green fee, cart fee, range balls, bag gratuity, tournament setup and scoring. Club rentals are available for $55.

The STC Board of Directors has identified Four Pillars, or four strategic priorities, that will guide its decisions about whether or not to implement proposals for work initiatives and the allocation of resources. They will also provide the structure for encouraging and inviting member participation in the planning of the STC's actionable objectives and work necessary to achieve them.

The Four Pillars for the Synthetic Turf Council are:

1. Advocate on Critical Issues: To promote the growth of the synthetic turf market and other industry interests and advocate on critical issues, e.g., end-of-life reclamation, reuse and recycling, heat, and any other matters pertaining to the health, welfare and positive image of the STC and its members.

2. Educate: To provide neutral, technical and need-based industry guidelines to STC members, end-user decision makers, architects and engineers, installers, and others.

3. Market: To grow the acceptance and demand for synthetic turf systems and its related products and services, and increase the public awareness and influence of the STC and its members.

4. Retain and Recruit Members: To earn the ongoing support and participation of its members so they become engaged stewards of a growing and vibrant Synthetic Turf Council.

The STC has developed four Standing Committees to represent each of the Four Pillars and address the action items from prior interactive work sessions and membership meetings. This work session will identify ideas and objectives for the current and upcoming fiscal year. They should be specific, measurable, consistent with the STC's mission and achievable substantially or completely by the 2014 Annual Membership Meeting. They will require an adequate number of volunteers, and possibly some financial resources. The Board leaders will moderate the session, participate in the discussion, and provide input on the feasibility of all proposed actionable objectives, particularly from the standpoint of cost and available resources.
