Join an STC Committee or Task Force
Volunteers play an integral part in the effectiveness, progression, innovation and success of the STC's vision, mission and purpose. As we move into 2020, we invite you to help put the industry's best interests front and center by volunteering on a committee or task force.
By volunteering on a committee or task force, STC members enhance their own professional development and benefit their companies.
Opportunities to Volunteer
The Board of Directors and Committees meet monthly by conference call and in-person at STC Membership Meetings.
STC Volunteer Guidelines
The STC Volunteer Guidelines (PDF) were developed in recognition of the STC volunteers and to guide and manage this important member benefit.
What Our Members Say
"My favorite part of being in the STC is the opportunity to become involved in leadership roles in the synthetic turf industry. The STC encourages members to participate on committees, task forces, and the board of directors. All of these roles allow members to shape the future of the synthetic turf industry, while making life-long friends and business contacts along the way!"
Donna Kent, Marketing Director
"We are STC members because of the on-going networking opportunities. We find that STC members are open-minded and always trying to make the industry better. We value the opportunity to work collaboratively with other members to build mutually beneficial partnerships."
Jordan Reber, Executive Vice President

During the year, the Board meets by conference call once every month for about 1.5 hours.
STC Committees are utilized by staff members and the Board of Directors to ensure that functional expertise is used in developing programs and services. The members of all Standing Committees serve for a one-year term, which ends with the conclusion of the Annual Membership Meeting.
