Synthetic Turf Council to Hold “Whistle-stop” Seminar on Landscape & Recreation Synthetic Grass

Atlanta, GA – On Monday, October 7th, the Synthetic Turf Council (STC) will be hosting its second "Whistle-stop” Seminar during the 10th Anniversary Celebration Annual Membership Meeting in Orlando, Florida at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. The theme for this pre-conference seminar is synthetic grass for landscape and recreation use.

From 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., the three-hour seminar will feature the following topics that include:

  • NEW "STC Guidelines: Considerations When Buying Synthetic Grass for Landscape Use”
  • Different Applications for Synthetic Grass
  • Environmental & Other Benefits of Synthetic Grass

"The "Whistle-stop” Seminar was created to offer a special educational opportunity to buyers and owners of synthetic turf systems. We hope that it will attract a large audience in the cities we travel to for our meetings, and become a staple in the educational programming that we offer throughout the year,” said Rick Doyle, President, Synthetic Turf Council.

Led by industry professionals, the seminar will provide valuable insight on the emerging trends within the synthetic grass industry as it pertains to landscape recreation. Invitees for this event include: landscape architects, parks and recreations officials, Florida Friendly Landscaping program, hotels and theme park companies, and STC members. Registered attendees are also invited to attend an Exhibitor Showcase that will immediately follow the seminar from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. This is an added value for decision makers, buyers and specifiers to be able to meet with STC vendors and learn more about products and services within the synthetic turf industry.
