Atlanta, GA -- The Synthetic Turf Council (STC) will be holding its annual membership meeting in Atlanta, Georgia from October 5th through 7th, 2015, at the JW Marriott in Atlanta/Buckhead. The national non-profit association’s meeting includes a robust educational program, technical sessions, and consumer panels. Keynote speaker for the event is former NFL Head Coach Dick Vermeil, who is inexorably linked with the catch-phrase “The Greatest Show on Turf,” referring to the St Louis Rams’ Super Bowl win in 2000.
Coach Vermeil owns the distinction of being named “Coach of the Year” on four levels – high-school, junior college, NCAA Division 1 and the National Football League. He coached the Philadelphia Eagles to the Super Bowl in 1980, the St. Louis Rams to win the Super Bowl in 2000, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Coach Vermeil will share his story on the importance of friends and family when trying to overcome adversity; having a mentor to guide you; and the qualities of leadership, perseverance, and vision to spur personal and business growth.
