In 2019 SYNLawn launched a product that propels the synthetic turf industry to new heights of innovation. Super Yarn™ is the result of many years of research and testing - a mission to create a 5th generation yarn package that binds together three features that had previously appeared only independently, into every single fiber of the turf.

Super Yarn combines Sanitized® antimicrobial technology with StartBlock™ anti-static technology and DualChill® IR reflective technology - resulting in a groundbreaking artificial grass fiber, that significantly improves the safety and durability of the turf.

Rigorous testing shows why Super Yarn represents such an exponential shift in artificial turf technology. The antimicrobial component, a silver-based technology, shows a 99.9% reduction in the spread of microbes. It helps to eliminate pet and bacterial odors and provides long-lasting protection. The carbon-based anti-static component achieves up to 17 times reduction in static levels. It ensures less static flow through a rooftop, or playground and benefits children who have cochlear implants, for whom getting shocked is a major concern. IR weakens turf fibers, breaking them down over time. DualChill IR deflects incoming IR waves, significantly reducing the buildup of heat. A recent test conducted by SYNLawn over three days in direct sunlight showed Super Yarn measuring between 5 and 6 degrees Fahrenheit lower than an older version of the turf without DualChill.
