2022 STC Landscape Installation of the Year Award: Recreation Category

The STC Landscape Project of the Year Award for Recreation recognizes an outstanding landscape installation that exhibits innovation and quality reflective of the STC mission.

This year’s recipient was the provider of the LeFleur's Bluff Playground in Jackson, Mississippi, the largest playground in the country. 

ForeverLawn of Tampa Bay installed 38,850 square feet of playground synthetic turf in varying colors with hand cut in circular patterns, long and winding berms, and climbing hills. Now children can run up and down, climb through turf mound tunnels, and jump with joy in having a dream space to play. Opened in December 2021, LeFleur's Bluff Playground has garnered attention especially for its creative and extensive use of turf.
