The STC Sports Project of the Year Award - Single Field over 75,000 Sq. Ft. recognizes an outstanding sports project installed by an STC member company that exhibits innovation and quality reflective of the STC mission.

This year’s recipient was the provider of the synthetic turf field hockey field at Duke University’s Williams Field at Jack Katz Stadium in Durham, North Carolina

The turf, made from 60% sugar cane, actively captures CO2, saving water, conserving resources, and reducing emissions.

Two-time ACC and NFHCA South Region Coach of the Year, Pam Bustin says of the upgrade, “I cannot wait to begin the next era of Duke True in our new home and upon our new turf!”
