The STC Landscape Project of the Year Award for Recreation recognizes an outstanding landscape installation that exhibits innovation and quality reflective of the STC mission. 

This STC Award recipient is the provider of the Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York.

The Hasbro Game Park, a 17,000-square-foot outdoor space offers an interactive, educational experience for children of all abilities, featuring multicolored turf, custom game-themed designs, and tactile elements that encourage safe developmental play. 

Incorporating themes of play, discovery, and history, the space serves as not only an extension of the museum and its mission, but also as an accessible, innovative experience for children of all ages and abilities. 

The ADA-compliant space showcases a commitment to innovation with synthetic turf, incorporating features like antistatic and antimicrobial technology to create a durable, accessible play environment.
