This golf course, designed by George Philpott of Legacy Golf Designs, sits in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, offers breathtaking Pacific Ocean views and a challenging layout with strategically placed T-boxes. 

The project prioritizes sustainability, incorporating anti-erosion measures, nature conservation, and synthetic putting surfaces to reduce water usage. 

Seamlessly integrated into the natural landscape, the course provides a low-maintenance, eco-friendly space for golfers and the community.

US Grass and Greens of Arizona - Camelback Putting Course

The STC Landscape Project of the Year Award for Residential recognizes an outstanding landscape recreation installation that exhibits innovation and quality reflective of the STC mission. 

This STC Award recipient is the provider of a residential putting course at Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, Arizona.

This project transformed a severely eroding yard into a functional, beautiful space through innovative drainage solutions, bunker installations, and strategic landscaping by Andy Taylor. 

The use of artificial grass not only provided aesthetic appeal but also ensured long-term protection from erosion, minimizing water waste and preserving the natural environment. 

By solving the client’s drainage issues and turning their unusable yard into a stunning, sustainable oasis, this project exemplifies innovation, craftsmanship, and environmental responsibility.
