Carducci Associates - Capuchino High School Athletic Complex

The STC Sports Project of the Year Award - Multifield recognizes an outstanding multi sports field project installed by an STC member company that exhibits innovation and quality reflective of the STC mission.

This STC Award recipient is the provider of Capuchino High School Athletic Complex in San Bruno, California.

The Capuchino High School Athletic Complex underwent a $20 million renovation, converting four natural grass fields to a synthetic turf system, adding sports lighting, and improving accessibility. 

This upgrade supports year-round and evening use, benefitting student athletes and the wider San Bruno community while generating rental income for the school. 

The project also prioritized sustainability by reducing water usage, incorporating stormwater treatment systems, and enhancing the urban forest canopy with relocated and newly planted trees.
