2025 STC Philanthropy Award

The STC Philanthropy Award recognizes an STC member company that demonstrates outstanding support of charitable causes and community outreach by providing funds, goods and/or services and setting an exceptional example for others to follow.

SYNLawn, AstroTurf, and Lowe’s repurposed a 10,000 sq. ft. mini-football field from a Lowe’s event into a durable, safe recreational space for the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada.

The project promoted sustainability by upcycling event turf, saving it from landfill disposal, and reducing maintenance and water costs in Nevada’s arid climate.

The small field benefits over 1,000 youths annually, supporting fitness, mental health, and community connection for local families and the broader Southern Nevada community.
