Trey Brindle, Shaw Sports Turf

The STC Volunteer Award honors a member who goes above and beyond to support the STC's mission. 

Trey Brindle, PhD is the Director of Research and Innovation at Shaw Sports Turf. Trey is a proud STC member and plays an active role in the Knowledge Committee.

Trey pioneered Poster Sessions and Rapid Podium sessions for STC annual conferences, personally championing and promoting these innovative formats while leading by example with his own poster session, making them a major success in just their second year. 

Known for his thoughtfulness and openness, Trey actively engages in every conversation, always ensuring others’ voices are heard.
