The meeting will attract 200+ industry leaders and feature exceptional networking, Exhibitor Showcase with tabletop displays, and unmatched education with 3-track technical sessions on industry-related topics. The program is designed to honor members who help to promote STC values and advance the synthetic turf industry. The awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Hyatt Regency Seattle.
Keynote Address: Economic Forecast for the Industry and the Global Economy
Lauren Saidel-Baker, ITR Economics, will provide an economic forecast for the U.S. and global economy, including a review of short-term and long-term global economic forecasts and how the forecasts will directly impact the synthetic turf industry. The presentation will discuss Business Cycle Phases and what it means to your company, leading economic indicators of the utmost importance to watch, and time-sensitive current events of public concern and how to expect them.
Lauren Saidel-Baker is a speaker and economist at ITR Economics™. She provides economic consulting services for small businesses, trade associations, and Fortune 500 companies across a spectrum of industries. Her work on ITR’s Business Advisory Team plays a vital role to the institute’s overall success.
Since joining ITR Economics, Lauren has brought enthusiasm and in-depth insights regarding various industry trends. Her engaging and charming personality always exceeds the expectations of her audiences, both internally and externally, while her experience in the financial industry supports a deep understanding of the usability of ITR Economics’ programs.
Lauren graduated cum laude with honors in economics and a double major in religion from Wellesley College. In addition to her academic accomplishments, Lauren is also a CFA® charterholder. Her attention to detail and ability to understand the needs of each of her clients makes her an incredible asset to ITR Economics.
NOTE RE: CEUs: As an approved provider of education with LA CES and AIA, the STC has qualified the educational content of the Spring Meeting so that licensed landscape architects may earn continuing education credits.
