About the Speakers:

Irfan Huda has over 14 years of industrial experience as a Chemical Engineer. In his early career, he had held various engineering roles at prestigious companies in the Wind Energy sector. Over the years, he has been able to make numerous contributions and vital solutions to problems in thermoset industry. Currently, he has been with BASF for past 8 years, and his recent role with Performance Chemical focuses on Polymer Additives and its applications.

Roger Threadgill - Since joining the Americhem organization in 1989 as the 2nd hire for the new Concord Facility, the North Carolina native has served in many capacities. At the plant level he served as Product Design Manager, Technical Service Specialist & Plant Technical Manager. In 2003 Roger was assigned to the Corporate Headquarters as Research Manager for the Fibers Group. From there, Roger moved to the Dalton, GA location in 2006 where he continued as Fibers Research Manager, as well taking on roles as Market Manager for Films & Engineering Compounding & Product Manager for the Fibers Group. Presently, he serves as Fibers Development Manager developing products for multiple fibers applications including Synthetic Turf. Roger earned a BS in Physics from Lenoir Rhyne University and holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the Univ of South Carolina.
