Purpose

The Sustainability Initiative of the Year Award recognizes an STC member company who consistently, and through innovation, utilizes sustainable materials and processes that work to minimize any negative impact on the natural environment. 

Submission Deadline Extended to June 12, 2025

Nominations

Any STC member company in good standing with one year of membership may nominate themselves for the Sustainability Initiative of the Year.

• Who Judges Award: STC panel
• Who is Eligible: Any STC member company in good standing with one year of membership
• Fee to Apply: $95.00 USD

Eligibility Criteria

• Any STC member company in good standing with at least one year of membership is eligible.
• The sustainability initiative being submitted must have been introduced to the industry within the previous calendar year (introduced in 2024).

Judging Criteria

Judging criteria are based on the Introduction, Impact and Outcomes, Innovation and Sustainability, and Supporting Materials sections of your poster submission.
